Is a woman's ritual bath (ghusl) incomplete if she has a contraceptive patch affixed to her skin when performing the ghusl for major ritual impurity (janabah), and what should she do?

If an adhesive tape is on the body and prevents water from reaching the skin, then the ghusl (ritual bath) from major impurity performed with it is considered incomplete. The prayers missed after this incomplete ghusl and before the complete and valid ghusl must be made up. If the number of invalid prayers is unknown, one must continue to make them up until it is highly probable that one's responsibility has been fulfilled.
