Does the Day, which is equivalent to a thousand years, include the punishment of the grave and the punishment of Hellfire?
A day with Allah is estimated to be like a thousand years of what we count in this world. This estimation relates to Allah's management of affairs in this world. As for the Day of Resurrection, its duration is fifty thousand years. There are no texts indicating specific days in the (interim period between death and resurrection). Rather, disbelievers are presented to the Fire and believers to Paradise morning and evening, and this presentation is understood to occur according to earthly days. As for the people of the Fire, they will remain in it for ages (ahqab), and no estimation for a day therein or variation of night and day for them has been reported.
