How can one respond to indirect accusations of envy or the "evil eye" from close individuals, knowing that the accused frequently remembers God and is psychologically affected by these accusations, and what is the ruling on accusing people of envy?

Envy and the evil eye are reprehensible traits, and it is not permissible to describe a Muslim with them. The relatives must cease harming the sister with such talk, as Allah Almighty says: "And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned have certainly borne a slander and a manifest sin" (Quran 33:58), and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe." The sister will be rewarded for her patience. She may defend herself by responding to them, or she may overlook their words. It may also be beneficial to share this fatwa with them or advise them.
