Does not forgiving someone for an old sin, after having forgiven them at the time and nine years have passed, mean that the offender's repentance is not accepted?

The forgiveness extended by the wronged person is considered a relinquishment of their right, and they are not permitted to retract it once they have forgiven, except for a father regarding what he gives to his child. Since the wrongdoer has repented and sought absolution from the wronged person, who then forgave them, we hope that Allah accepts their repentance, and that the wronged person's retraction does not hinder its acceptance. We advise apologizing and showing kindness to them again to avoid discord.
