What is the ruling on my work delivering pills that are used — alongside treating stomach ulcers — for abortion, and is expiation (kaffarah) due upon me if I did that unknowingly?

It is permissible to work in the transport of goods unless it is known that they are forbidden. Abortion is forbidden except in specific cases before the ensoulment, and under certain conditions. As for selling abortion pills without observing these conditions, that is forbidden, and it is not permissible to assist in it by transport or otherwise; due to Allah's saying: ﴿And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.﴾ Therefore, it is not permissible to deliver these packages if it is known that they contain abortion pills.
