Is it true that whoever commits grave sins, such as mockery that expels one from the faith, will not have their repentance accepted? And when do minor sins, such as music and TV series, turn into major ones? And is watching TV series with the intention of returning to them considered a major sin? And is wearing a shoulder abaya a major sin?

Every sin from which a servant repents with sincere repentance is accepted by Allah, even if it was shirk (polytheism). One who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. Persistence in minor sins makes them major sins. Among the conditions for the validity of repentance is the firm resolve not to return to the sin. Minor sins may lead to major sins. A Muslim should repent from all sins and be mindful of Allah's constant observation. The shoulder abaya is permissible if it fulfills the conditions of the Shariah-compliant hijab. If it does not fulfill them, for example, if it is tight or adorned, then it is not permissible to wear it, and there is a fear that its wearer may be committing a major sin, for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) warned against displaying oneself (tabarruj) and threatened consequences for it.
