Will a servant not be punished for minor sins that Allah forgives by avoiding major sins, even if he repeatedly commits them and repents from them?

The majority of scholars hold that "al-lamam" (minor sins) in the verse refers to minor transgressions. Persistence in a minor sin elevates it to a major one. There is no major sin with repentance, and no minor sin with persistence. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against trivial sins because they accumulate and destroy their perpetrator. When a servant repents from their sins, they are forgiven and not punished for them; indeed, one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. For repentance to be accepted, there are conditions: abstaining from the disobedience, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. Whoever repents, Allah accepts their repentance, for Allah is vast in forgiveness.
