What is the ruling, the fatwa, and the way for a person who is 41 years old, has abandoned prayer except on Fridays, whose desires have increased, who feels aversion towards his wife, who looks at women in the streets and at the private parts of men, and who feels lost on a dark path while realizing his error, and who found in his dreams that he regretted abandoning prayer after it was too late?

My brother, you are in great danger, and you must hasten to sincere repentance, return to Allah, and adhere to His law before it is too late. Repent to Allah from all sins, and know that your awareness of your error is an argument against you. Safeguard your prayers, abstain from looking at what is unlawful, and strive against your soul to abandon sins. What will help you in repentance are sincere determination, remembering the proximity of death and the difficulty of standing before Allah, and recalling Allah's wrath and punishment. Adhere to the company of the righteous, strive in supplication, and exert sincere effort against yourself; for Allah has guaranteed His help to those who strive in His cause: "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."
