Does a young man meeting a girl he loves in public places for a short period to discuss general and religious matters, knowing that she loves him, fall under the category of forbidden or permissible, especially with her saying: "No two people meet but the devil is the third between them"?

The Prophetic narrations warned against the trial (fitnah) of women, stating that it is the most severe trial for men. Corresponding with a girl whom you know loves you, and you know you love her, is a great trial that could lead to an entrenched infatuation and a disobedience of the heart, eye, or ear. Islam does not approve of love relationships outside the framework of marriage. Therefore, this relationship must be severed immediately, followed by repentance, staying away from places where she might be found, occupying oneself with the company of the righteous, and resorting to prayer and reading the Quran when the devil whispers.
