If the wife has wrongfully encroached upon her husband's brother's money, she has committed a major sin, and she must repent and return the money. If she does not repent, then divorcing her is not an injustice to her due to her ill-manners towards the parents. However, if she repents and improves her conduct, it is better not to divorce her, as "the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin." In the event of a divorce, the court will rule on matters of custody and alimony.
