What is the ruling on establishing a women's band for Islamic wedding celebrations for money, including entertaining theatrical performances in which one of the sisters imitates men, and is she sinful if men hear her unintentionally, and is it permissible for mosques to build event halls with the possibility of minor violations occurring?

The use and listening to musical instruments are forbidden, with the exception of the duff (tambourine) for women during Eid and celebrations, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There will be people from my ummah who will consider unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, alcohol, and musical instruments as lawful."

It is not permissible for a woman to raise her voice in singing such that men can hear it. Nor is it permissible for women to act in roles portraying men, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of women imitating men.

There is no objection to establishing a hall for events, provided it does not involve disobedience to Allah.
