Is it permissible for women to wear all the gold they possess and adorn themselves with it and go out to display it at popular celebrations?

If by "celebrations" the wedding occasion is meant, and Islam has encouraged the announcement and publicizing of marriage, then it is necessary to observe the Sharia by avoiding forbidden acts. If the wedding is free from prohibitions, there is no objection to a woman attending it in her full adornment and finery, as long as she displays this only to other women like herself. However, if the wedding includes anything forbidden, she is not permitted to attend it.
