Is it obligatory for a menstruating woman who has become pure outside her home to return to her house to perform ghusl, or should she perform ghusl in the place where she is?

Upon purification, a menstruating woman must perform ritual ablution (ghusl) and pray. If it is possible for her to return home before the prayer time expires, she should do so. Otherwise, she is obligated to perform ghusl and pray in the place where she is, if possible.
