Is it true that whoever is buried in a distant land is secured by that soil until he is transferred to another location, remaining in his original state, and to whom does this belief belong, and what is the ruling on believing in it?

This belief is false and a baseless superstition. The Muslim's creed is that all human bodies are subject to change and decomposition, except for the bodies of the prophets, for Allah has forbidden the earth from consuming them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is nothing of a human being that does not decay except for one bone, which is the coccyx (ʿajb adh-dhanab), and from it the creation will be reassembled on the Day of Resurrection." It is not permissible to exhume a grave and move the deceased unless there is a necessity or a sound legitimate purpose.
