What is the order of the stages of accountability on the Day of Resurrection, and does success in a specific stage mean direct entry into Paradise, or must one pass through the next examination?

Allah Almighty describes the horrors and intensity of the Day of Judgment. There is no surprise in a believer's fear and apprehension in that situation, for even the prophets themselves will say, "My soul, my soul." The text indicates that the believer does not know the fate of their misdeeds, nor do they know their state on the Sirat (bridge) that will be erected over Hell. Muslim reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, will say on the Sirat, "O Lord, grant safety, grant safety." And the Qantara (bridge) that precedes Paradise is where injustices will be redressed. All these horrors are tremendous, and a servant is not safe until they enter Paradise. Imam Al-Qurtubi is reported to have given a precise description of the intensity of the situation on the Sirat. It can be concluded that whoever is saved from one stage does not enter Paradise directly, except after passing through the remaining stages, with the exception of those who enter Paradise without reckoning, but they will still pass over the Sirat. The stages are: the Gathering (Hashr), the Greatest Intercession (Shafa'ah al-Udhma), receiving the book (Akhdh al-Kitab), the Scale (Mizan), the Basin (Hawd), the Sirat, the Qantara of injustices, and then entering Paradise or Hellfire.
