If a person dies leaving behind a wife, five daughters, two brothers, and five sisters only:

- The wife receives one-eighth (135 shares) as per the verse: "But if you have a child, then for them [the wives] is one eighth of what you leave." - The daughters receive two-thirds (720 shares, 144 shares for each daughter) as per the verse: "But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left." - The remainder is divided by 'asaba (agnatic succession) among the brothers and sisters (50 shares for each brother, and 25 shares for each sister), provided they are full or paternal siblings, as per the verse: "And if there are brothers and sisters, then for the male is the share of two females."
