This act is among the gravest of sins, and it is reprehensible both religiously and by nature. Its repugnance intensifies when committed by a father against his son. The son must treat his father kindly and conceal his faults. If he sees his father still committing this obscenity, he should advise him and admonish him with beautiful speech and kind words, treating him with goodness and associating with him honorably. As for the father's affection towards him, the son has no control over it if it does not change through good treatment.
