Marital life is rarely free of problems. Both spouses should be wise, engage in dialogue, and understand each other, as this achieves stability and psychological tranquility, which is the objective of marriage in Islamic law. Satan might have exploited the wife's psychological distress due to her desire for procreation to stir up discord. Our advice to both of you is to take your time, search for the causes of the problems and their solutions, and make abundant supplications. In vitro fertilization is permissible with its conditions, and there is no sin in refraining from it even if there is no reason.
