Is it permissible to use visual devices such as cameras and the like during sermons and prayers in a multi-story mosque, given that the Imam is on one floor and the people are on other floors where they cannot see him?

The first is not to place visual devices in the mosque under the pretext of the congregant seeing the Imam, in order to avoid the dispute regarding the ruling on photography and to purify the houses of Allah. The ruling is confirmed if these devices are installed during prayer so as not to distract the worshippers, bearing in mind that the congregant is not required to see the Imam, neither during the Friday sermon nor during prayer. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah was asked about someone who prays with the Imam and there is a barrier between them preventing them from seeing each other. He replied that his prayer is valid according to most scholars, and this is the explicit text reported from Ahmad.
