Is it permissible to pray not to marry in Paradise, and if it is inevitable, is it permissible to pray that the husband be different from the men of this world?

A man's or woman's disinclination to marry is an indication of an ailment, for the natural inclination of a balanced person is towards it. The prophets married, and there is no celibate in Paradise. A woman who shies away from marriage in this world will desire it in the Hereafter, because there is no compulsion for anything that the people of Paradise do not love.

A woman's prayer to not marry in Paradise is an transgression in supplication, in which Allah commanded humility and secrecy. Stipulating a specific delight contradicts humility, and the Salaf forbade detailing Paradise and Hell in supplication.

The statement by a woman, "I feel I am just a number to a man," is an unprecedented remark that spread due to some individuals claiming affiliation with Islam exploiting women's issues by portraying marriage as a restriction, even though marriage is a place of tranquility, affection, and mercy.

What is incumbent upon a Muslim woman is to believe in the justice of Allah's rulings and not to object to what He has chosen, and to turn away from the calls of the people of disbelief, for they are satanic calls.

A woman's determination to abandon marriage contradicts the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ, and it is a turning away from it, which is a great danger; for whoever turns away from his Sunnah is not of him.
