How many divorces have occurred, and who is to bear responsibility if we follow the fatwa of the Dar al-Ifta that no divorce has occurred, and is it obligatory to follow the Dar al-Ifta or the opinions of other shaykhs?

The mentioned divorces are effective, and thus the woman has been irrevocably separated from her husband (Bainunah Kubra). He cannot take her back unless she marries another man out of genuine desire, and then that husband divorces her after consummation or dies, and her waiting period (iddah) ends. An ordinary person must ask someone whose knowledge and piety they trust, and act upon what brings their heart peace. If their heart is not at ease with the fatwa of a mufti, they are not obliged to act upon it, based on the hadith: "Consult your heart, even if people give you a fatwa and re-affirm it." If they do not trust the mufti, they should ask someone else until they find peace of mind. One must fear Allah to the best of their ability.
