Is it permissible for a man to pray at home in covered shorts and an undershirt, or must he wear his full clothes and adorn himself?

Prayer is valid when performed in trousers and a sleeveless undershirt that cover the-awrah and the shoulders, although it is better to beautify oneself and wear good clothes, for Allah Almighty says: (O Children of Adam! Take your adornment to every Masjid).
