Is a father sinful for severing ties with his paternal uncles and aunts due to their refusal to divide the inheritance of land in Palestine (with the male receiving the same share as the female), which is known as "Al-Miriyah," "Al-Othmaniyah," or "Al-Hukm Al-Intiqali"?

Relinquishing a right does not obligate a person, and invoking a curse upon them for it will not be answered because it is a supplication for sin. Severing ties of kinship is impermissible and necessitates being cut off by Allah. Allah Almighty said to kinship: "Are you not pleased that I should connect with whoever connects with you, and cut off whoever cuts you off? It said: Yes, my Lord. He said: That is so." And Allah Almighty mentioned: "So, would you, perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption in the land and sever your ties of kinship?" The true meaning of maintaining kinship ties is to connect with them even if they sever ties with you, for the one who maintains ties is not merely the one who reciprocates.
