Is it permissible to work in a conventional bank currently and contribute to its conversion into an Islamic bank, knowing that there are Sharia transgressions in the Islamic bank where I currently work?

Working in commercial banks that do not adhere to Sharia principles is forbidden due to their violations. It is permissible to work in Islamic banks that genuinely adhere to Sharia principles. If a bank has Islamic branches that comply with Sharia and other branches that do not, it is permissible to work only in the Islamic branches, provided they genuinely adhere to Sharia rulings and have their own independent system. Working in banks that are in the process of Islamization is permissible, provided that the transformation is serious, old interest-based dealings are liquidated, no new forbidden transactions are entered into, and the bank has a trustworthy Sharia board whose decisions the management adheres to. However, if the transformation plan is slow and not serious, and the bank continues to engage in new interest-based transactions, then working for it is not permissible.
