What is the religious ruling on masturbating during the daytime in Ramadan?

You must repent to Allah Almighty for committing the forbidden act of masturbation, which is even more forbidden in Ramadan. You must make up for the days on which this act was performed if ejaculation occurred, but no make-up is required if no ejaculation occurred. Furthermore, an expiation of feeding one poor person is required for each day that was due for make-up but was not made up without a valid excuse until the next Ramadan began.
