Is it permissible to forgive the oppressor in this life but not forgive him in the Hereafter, in order to obtain one's rights on the Day of Judgment?

It is better to forgive those who have wronged you, seeking Allah's reward and forgiveness, as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever is patient and forgives, indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] firm resolve" and "and those who pardon the people—and Allah loves the doers of good." If you do not forgive in this world, you can take your right from them on the Day of Resurrection, but this will cause you to miss the reward of forgiveness. As for forgiving in this world and taking one's right on the Day of Resurrection, this is not consistent, because forgiveness in this world means the wronged person relinquishing their right. Not forgiving does not mean the forbidden abandonment for more than three [days].
