Will a man in Paradise have only two of his wives from this world, even if he was married to four women who died while still married to him, or will he have all his wives in addition to two women from this world who were not his wives, and the houris?

The believing man will be accompanied by his believing wives in Paradise, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter, and [also] those who were righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring." The hadith "Each one of them will have two wives" does not negate an increase; rather, it indicates the minimum that a man will have in Paradise. This includes his righteous wives from this world and what Allah adds to him of the Houris. Thus, the believer in Paradise will have more than two wives.
