Is it permissible to combine prayers (Dhuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha) throughout the duration of travel in a non-Muslim country, if it is difficult to perform them at their prescribed times?

A Muslim must perform prayer on time. Deliberately performing it after its prescribed time is a major sin. A traveler who experiences hardship may combine prayers until they return from their journey, unless they intend to reside [in a place] for four days or more. If they intend to reside [in a place], their travel is considered to have ended, and according to the majority of scholars, they are not permitted to shorten or combine prayers. However, some scholars are of the view that travel does not end even with a stay of four days or more.
