Is it valid to narrate from the jinn, and are they trustworthy?

The narration of humans from jinn is not valid due to their unreliability. The apparent ruling is to prohibit it because their trustworthiness cannot be ascertained. It has been reported in the hadith: "Soon, devils whom Solomon bin David had bound most securely will emerge, and they will say: 'Narrate to us and inform us.'" As for the narration of jinn from humans, there is no doubt about its permissibility.
