If the girl is religious and of good character, be eager to marry her, after performing Istikhara, investigating, and consulting. Hasten to complete the marriage, for it contains many benefits. Strive to provide an independent dwelling without extravagance. You may عقد (contract) with her and postpone the consummation, but do not prolong the period. Be aware that the fiancée is a stranger to her suitor, and communication with her should only be out of necessity.
