The young man made a mistake by telling you about his previous relationship, as a Muslim should conceal the sins he has committed. Forbidden masturbation is that which is done by hand. However, if it is done by the wife's hand or merely through enjoying her touch, there is no harm. After a valid marriage contract, a man is permitted to enjoy his wife, such as touching her body, kissing her, or seeing her hair. However, she is not permitted to assist him in forbidden masturbation. If custom dictates that conjugal relations should not occur before the wedding, then this custom should be respected. There is no justification for seeking a divorce, and the consummation of the marriage should be hastened to avoid what is unlawful and fitan (temptations).
