And why is woman specifically characterized by "will never be straight with you on one way," when this is a general description of human beings?

Islam honors and grants justice to women. It has honored her as a mother, a daughter, and a wife. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, enjoined good treatment of her and did not diminish her in his texts. The "deficiency in a woman's intellect" refers to the dominance of her emotions, which necessitates her testimony being complemented by another. Her "deficiency in religion" refers to her not praying or fasting during menstruation and postpartum bleeding, and this is not a blameworthy deficiency. The fact that a woman was created from a crooked rib is not a disparagement; rather, it is a guidance to treat her with patience and gentleness, taking into account her emotional nature and her physical vulnerability. Gentleness does not mean that a woman is insane or has a defect, but rather it means overlooking minor faults resulting from being easily affected by emotions.
