Is expiation or paying a sum of money sufficient for the husband not fasting Ramadan due to smoking?

Smoking is forbidden because it contains harm, waste of money, and a foul odor. The smoker who has broken his fast must hasten to repent and return to Allah. Expiation is not sufficient for him as long as he is able to fast.
