Is embroidering (decorating) fabric haram because the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, liked unadorned clothing?

Embroidering and decorating on fabric and other materials is permissible (halal), and it is a form of adornment that Allah has made lawful. If the embroidery is done with gold, silver, or silk, it is permissible for women to wear but not for men. What was mentioned about the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, disliking embroidered clothing was in the context of prayer, because it distracts from devotion (khushu').
