Is there intercession in the Afterlife, and what is the interpretation of the verse: "Say: To Allah belongs all intercession"?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Intercession in the Hereafter is of several types:

- The intercession of the Prophet (peace be upon him) (general and specific).

- The intercession of the Quran for those who recite it and act upon it.

- The intercession of the martyr in the way of Allah for seventy of his relatives.

- The intercession of some righteous people.

- The intercession of the Prophets, angels, and believers.

As for idols and false gods, they do not possess intercession, for intercession belongs to Allah alone and occurs only by His permission for whomever He approves.
