What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a woman's heart becoming attached to a reciter of the Qur’an who was the cause of an increase in her faith, while she fears that this attachment might be a temptation (fitna)?

There is no sin upon a woman for merely admiring a man who is a stranger to her, or for her heart inclining towards him, as long as it does not escalate to meetings, speech, or gazes of suspicion. This is because inner thoughts and heart's inclinations are forgiven as long as they are not spoken or acted upon. Whoever feels something of these thoughts should seek refuge in Allah from them and cut them off, and not dwell on them, so that they do not lead to bad consequences. This is because the root of all corruption stems from neglecting thoughts and indulging in them. Thus, repelling a thought is easier than repelling a will and a resolve after they have taken root.
