How is inheritance divided between a maternal half-brother and two paternal half-sisters?

If a person passes away and their heirs are two half-sisters from the father's side and one half-brother from the mother's side only, then the two sisters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if there are two, they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves." And the half-brother from the mother's side receives one-sixth as a prescribed share, based on the Almighty's saying: "And if he has a brother or a sister [from his mother's side], then for each one of them is the sixth." The remainder is returned to the two sisters and the half-brother from the mother's side. This is the opinion of a group of Companions and is the madhhab of the Hanafis and Hanbalis, and it is what is applied in fatwas. Accordingly, the inheritance is divided into five shares: the two sisters receive four shares (two shares for each), and the half-brother from the mother's side receives one share.
