The answer

Supplication (Du'a) is among the best acts of worship, and the best supplication is the supplication of the Day of 'Arafah, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best supplication is the supplication of the Day of 'Arafah, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone, without any partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things competent.'" This virtue encompasses both the fasting person and the non-fasting person, and it is among the greatest supplications and the closest to being answered.
