How can one get rid of sex?

A Muslim rids himself of unlawful sexual acts and other sins by contemplating the severe warning Allah has prepared for transgressors, especially for fornicators and homosexuals. Among the worldly punishments for fornication is the spread of plagues and diseases, as mentioned in the Hadith, which is what we observe now with the proliferation of diseases like AIDS. Similarly, recalling the story of the young man who sought permission to commit zina (fornication/adultery) and how the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, explained to him that he would not like that for his mother or daughter, makes him realize that just as he would not like his own honor to be violated, he should not violate the honor of others.
