Is paying a bribe to a doctor who is not interested in his patients unless paid, and without him requesting it, considered a sin on the part of the payer?

Bribery is among the major sins, and both the briber and the bribed are cursed. It is forbidden for the recipient in all circumstances, and likewise for the giver, unless they are compelled to pay it to avert injustice or to obtain a legitimate right that they cannot otherwise acquire except through bribery. In this case, it is permissible to pay the bribe, but it remains unlawful for the recipient. One should be cautious not to be lenient regarding bribery, as it is a cause of its widespread occurrence. Employees should fear Allah in their work and know that bribery and gifts to workers are forbidden.
