Is sexual intercourse obligatory on the first night of marriage?

A man is not obligated to consummate the marriage on the wedding night, and both spouses may postpone it. Intercourse is an obligation and a right for both spouses. Therefore, the wife must allow her husband to have intercourse with her unless it harms her, and the husband must have intercourse with his wife sufficiently, as long as it does not exhaust him or distract him from his livelihood.
