Are the women of this world or the Houris more beautiful in Paradise, and to whom will a man be more inclined, and will the wives meet daily, and with whom will the husband sleep at night?

Firstly: A group of believers will enter Paradise, their faces shining like the full moon, and those who follow them will glow like the most beautiful stars. Their hearts will be in harmony, free from hatred or envy, and each of them will have two wives from among the wide-eyed houris, whose bone marrow can be seen through their bones and flesh. The minimum for each believer is two wives, and he may have more, as indicated by the hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, which states that for the believer there will be a hollow pearl tent in which he will go around to his wives.

Secondly: Scholars have differed on whether the women of this world or the wide-eyed houris are superior in rank and beauty. Some have preferred the houris, while others have preferred the women of this world, and there is no authentic hadith that definitively resolves this dispute. The prevailing view is that the believing woman in Paradise is superior, higher in rank, and more beautiful than the wide-eyed houris, because she entered Paradise as a reward for her righteous deeds, while the wide-eyed houris were created to be a reward for the believer. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen supported this view.

Thirdly: The wives of the believer will not see each other in Paradise, as indicated by the hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari about the pearl tent, where the believer goes around to his wives in every corner and they do not see each other. Among the blessings Allah bestows upon the people of Paradise is the removal of rancor and envy, and the dispelling of worldly worries and sorrows, for Paradise is the abode of eternal bliss without any disturbances.

Fourthly: There is no night or day in Paradise, nor sun or moon; rather, it is perpetual light. The people of Paradise will know their times by the succession of lights and glows or by the lowering of curtains. A man in Paradise will enjoy his wives from this world and the wide-eyed houris, in a way that suffices him with eternal pleasure and bliss for him and his wives, without any disturbance or cessation of pleasures.
