Is it permissible for a wife to pray that she alone be her husband's wife in Paradise, and that he have no wives from among the houri? And is it permissible for the husband to say "Amen" to her supplication? And how can this matter be addressed educationally? And will the wife in Paradise be for her husband from this world, or will she be given a choice?

A Muslim woman is not permitted to object to God’s decree concerning the reward of the believers in Paradise with the Houris due to jealousy. Neither she nor her husband is permitted to supplicate to God to deprive the husband of them. A Muslim woman must trust that Paradise is free from any annoyances or anything that might distress her. The husband should occupy his wife with striving to enter Paradise and performing good deeds, and he should not speak to her about matters concerning the Houris that might perturb her mind.
