How can one deal with the problem of being ignored by some people in society, including those in the mosque, due to reasons such as pride, arrogance, and financial status, while maintaining a good reputation and fulfilling duties towards God, and overcoming the disappointment resulting from such treatment?
Brotherhood and love for the sake of Allah are among the greatest rituals of the religion, for believers are brothers. Allah has promised a great reward to those who love one another for His sake. The measure of love for the sake of Allah should be righteousness and good character, not language, color, or wealth. A sincere brother is rare to find, so one should accept his brother with his shortcomings and be a good example of brotherhood himself, for he who seeks a brother without fault will remain without a brother. The weakening of faith, the spread of partisanship, self-love, and other matters have led to the weakening of brotherhood for the sake of Allah. Therefore, one should not expect perfection in others, but rather interact with them within the bounds of knowledge and apparent friendship.
