Is it permissible to adopt Ibn al-Qayyim's view that continuous pathological discharges do not invalidate wudu', and that it is not necessary to repeat wudu' if they exit during prayer after having performed wudu'?

If the discharge is continuous, such that it does not cease for a time sufficient for ablution (wudu') and prayer, then it is considered to be like سلس ( سلس البول - urinary incontinence, but here refers to continuous discharge that invalidates ablution). In this case, performing ablution for each prayer is sufficient, and whatever exits after the ablution or during it does not matter. However, if it ceases for a time sufficient for ablution and prayer, then the ruling of سلس does not apply to it, and it is considered among the things that invalidate ablution. If its cessation is irregular, the majority of scholars hold that the ruling of سلس does not apply to it, while some Hanbalis preferred the view that irregular cessation has the ruling of سلس.
