What is the authenticity of the story of Raja' ibn Haywah, who used to spend 60 dinars daily only to find them under his pillow, and how could this miracle happen to him when he was not a prophet, while the Rightly Guided Caliphs did not experience miracles?

The story mentioned about Haywah ibn Shuraih is considered a miraculous honor (karamah) and not a miracle (mu'jiza), because a miracle is exclusive to prophets, while a miraculous honor is for a righteous saint (wali). It is not necessary for a miraculous honor to be bestowed upon a lower-ranking individual for a higher-ranking one; Allah may grant some of His saints a miraculous honor as a form of steadfastness and favor, and a higher-ranking individual may dispense with it due to their exalted status. The Rightly Guided Caliphs experienced known and famous miraculous honors. Miraculous honors may occur according to a person's need, and the ultimate purpose of a miraculous honor is to uphold steadfastness.
