Is it permissible for a sister to benefit from half the salary of her brother, who is an employee detained by American forces, given a system that pays half the salary to his family and withholds the other half until his release?

We ask Allah to relieve the oppressed Muslims and to replace their fear with security. If the entity where the employee works allows for half of his salary to be disbursed until he is released from captivity, then there is no problem in taking it. It is considered a right of the captive employee and of those whose maintenance is obligatory upon him, such as his wife and children. They should spend from it in a reasonable manner, according to their needs.
