Is it permissible to perform tayammum and pray while lying on one's stomach for days due to surgery?

If a worshiper is unable to use water or fears harm, they should perform tayammum (definition) (dry ablution). It is permissible for a sick person to pray while lying down if they are unable to stand or sit, or if doing so causes extreme difficulty or exacerbates their illness, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying to 'Imran ibn Husayn: "Pray standing; if you are unable, then sitting; and if you are unable, then on your side."

One who is lying down must face the Qiblah (direction of prayer) if possible, even if on their side or by moving the bed. If they are unable to face the Qiblah, they should pray facing whatever direction they are able. They may nod with their head, and they may combine two prayers when there is difficulty. Also, someone else may perform wudoo' (ablution) or tayammum for them if possible.
