Is hanging a piece of a dead person's shroud in a room, for the purpose of remembering death and not becoming heedless of the remembrance of Allah and disobeying Him, considered an innovation (bid'ah)?

A Muslim should frequently remember death and what comes after it, for the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: "Remember often the destroyer of pleasures: death." And whoever adopts a means to alert himself to this is not considered an innovator, because it is merely a means of awareness.
