Is it permissible to pray sitting in a car if the Muslim worshiper is the only one among disbelievers?

Standing in obligatory prayers is a pillar that may not be abandoned except in cases of inability, severe hardship, or fear of worsening an illness. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying to Imran ibn Husayn: "Pray standing; if you are unable, then sitting; and if you are unable, then on your side." The Ummah has reached a consensus on this, and the reward of one who has a valid excuse is not diminished. A person in fear may pray sitting if standing would reveal him to his enemy. As for praying in a car, it is not permissible unless there is a valid excuse. A Muslim must pray in a pure place, performing a complete prayer, and he must fear Allah and perform the prayer as commanded.
